Decisions Decisions Decisions!!!!!

Have you ever gotten to a stage where you feel like you have to make very important decisions that would shape the path your life would go in. I mean there are no guarantees there are no certainties. A lot of other things may be  depending  on this decision .  It has to be the right one but what if it you make it and it  is not the right one then what. You know what I discovered there are things you can control and some things you cant control but it so happens that we just  worry regardless.It happens that a lot of us worry about the future when we haven't been there yet .We focus so much energy on worrying about this future thus forgetting to remember the one who has been there   I knew you before you were formed in your mothers womb-Jer 1:5

I found that when you find yourself worrying you have to check yourself. There is something that may be shaky and that is your trust in God.Therefore the Question is Do you trust God concerning this issue. There are some issues that you deem  unnecessary to concern God with and sometimes we might not acknowledge him at all.
Yet the scripture says "  In  All your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path" prov 3:6
What is it to Trust?
A firm belief in the ability, integrity, character of a person or thing. - dictionary.com
Why Would You Trust A Person?
I had a conversation about trust with a friend . I asked this friend if he trusted me . The reply was Yes. I asked what do you mean by you trust me and he replied by saying there are some certain things  I am certain you could never do (he listed them) even if I was told by a multitude of people that you did it . I will still doubt it.There it hit me . If another human could love and trust so much in the character of a human which could fail and disappoint at anytime then why do we doubt the character of God  ?
Why Trust God
 The bible says he honors his Word more than his name. Therefore If he says that Your life is in his hands and no one can snatch you from his hands, that is what it is. Jesus in the book of John said
" My father who has given them to me is greater than ALL and no one can snatch them from my fathers hands -John 10: 29

God is greater than ALL (whatever it may be)He will guide you and he will lead you and I tell you nobody can snatch you from the hands of the Great shepherd because he guards and leads his sheep. Things may be going on and may seem contrary to what he said but if he said he will do it. All you need to do is stand on his word declare it and trust him. The scripture also says

"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
but water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth;
It shall not return to me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall Prosper in the thing for which I sent it.- Isaiah 55:10-11

As long as you see the rain and snow, remind yourself that all God has said concerning you will come to pass.

I want to encourage you today that as long as long as it rains and snows,  all God has said concerning you will come to pass. You might be at the verge of making a serious decision and you might feel so overwhelmed and stressed but you don't have to .You can tell and trust God with it today .If he was not concerned he would not have said in All your ways acknowledge me . What has he said concerning that issue let him know that you trust him because he is God and he is in charge of your life no one else.

Lean on him you can trust him with all of your heart . Lean not on your own understanding God has got your back.  Just do your best , Pray,trust God and rest in him. He has never failed and he will not fail you now.

Matthew 6: 25-34

Do Not Worry

²⁵ “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? ²⁶ Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? ²⁷ Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

²⁸ “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; ²⁹ and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.³⁰ Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

³¹ “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ ³² For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. ³³ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.³⁴ Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

One of my favorite verses in the bible. Every day has its own troubles so do not worry about tomorrow. The first time I grabbed a hold of this truth .I felt on top of the world.God is aware of my needs.If God takes care of birds that do not know where food is going to come from and he thinks it is important to clothe grass. How much more us his own creation. I used to be a worrier. You know I always wanted to  figure everything out and predict the outcome of everything. You know see the entire staircase before you take the first step. However ,I got a hold of this scripture and I let go and learnt to rest and trust God .I honestly thought I had that scripture locked down in my heart but I recently found myself worrying about things I couldn't handle and had been so busy with school and trying to make a lot of decisions that I had been too busy to realize it .

 Until I woke up with my heart racing one morning and  then I knew what it was" Mr Worry" in full force. I quickly grabbed my bible and opened it up to this scripture and you know what I got total peace about everything and you can too.
You might ask, I thought you had a hold of the scripture why did you worry? The bible says in proverbs
 " My son  give attention to my word ,Incline your ears to my sayings
Do not let depart from thine eyes,
keep them in the midst of thine heart
because they are life to those who find it and they are health to their flesh"-Prov 4:20-22
I had not kept it in the midst of my eyes . All I needed to do was to look in Gods word to receive healing for my heart and  his peace that no man can give .Then keep his word concerning that issue in my heart and hold on tight to it.

 Our life is In God's hands Our  future is in God's hands he is aware of our every need .There is no need to worry about tomorrow . Do the best you can. Put God First In Everything  and all these things shall be added unto me.

Food For Taught 

1. Gods word is food to us and health to our flesh.It would reach places where people could never reach.

2. No matter how many times you have read a scripture .Read it again .Gods word is our "sword". Eph 6:17
3. Spend time with God .He knows just what you are going through .Who else but your creator to provide just what you need to make things ok.
4. Give no place to worry ,give no place to fear.Find what God says about that situation and hold on to it "He is faithful who has promised" .He has an unmatched record . He will never fail.

Roll Over 2014 ,2015 Is Here ...

It's been a tremendous year . God has been faithful. If you are reading this , It means you are among the living and that is enough reason to thank God. There were highs and there may have been some lows as well but the very fact that we are alive means one thing to me. God is not done with us yet .We are alive because of his mercy and his grace. In spite of our unfaithfulness God has been faithful and kind to us. There have been so much unrest and disasters in 2014 but we are here by God's grace I am so exited for the forthcoming year because he has promised that the latter will be better than the former . May this year be an amazing year for us all. Cheers to a bigger better year in Jesus name.

Tribute To Dr Myles Munroe !!!

It was a regular Monday Morning . I go through my phone scan through my apps to keep up with everything ,say my prayers ,take a shower, have breakfast then head out to school.However,this particular Monday was quite different . I scanned through my apps and I saw a picture of a familiar face with his wife and a  personal message saying " Who Are we to Question God ?He is Sovereign And His ways Are Far Higher Than Ours".  I searched Google immediately and then I saw the News Dr Myles Munroe His Wife and  others on board a private plane had passed on. I was astounded ,I had no words . I rushed off to school to make my morning classes but the thought occasionally came in as I sat through the lectures. I headed  home during my break and as I sat on my bed ,wondering what to make of it. I found Myself  focused on the words of Paul.

 (Phil 1:21 ,1 Cor 9:22)

" For Me to live is Christ and to Die is Gain".-This meant either way Paul was heaven conscious " in life" he would be carrying on the great commission doing exactly what Jesus wanted .It will be spreading the word in every way he can " for though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more and to the Jews I became as a Jew , that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law as under the law , that i might win those who are under the law, as under the law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ),that I might win those are without law, to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have Become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. Now this I do for the gospel's sake, that I may be partaker of it with you" . 

   This demonstrates a man committed to the work of God  , a man so consumed with his purpose  that he could never be at a disadvantage either in life nor in death because he was heaven conscious. The Question I find  myself asking today is how conscious Of heaven are we?  David  recognized in Psalms that our times are in God's hands and he Prayed Father teach us to number our days that we might gain a heart of wisdom. My Prayer today is that we do not get too carried away with worthless things that we loose our consciousness of heaven and spend our time on time on worthless things. I pray that each day irrespective of how little our sphere of influence might be , Our lights will shine that our father would be glorified in heaven. The truth is what lives on would be the many hearts and lives you touched simply because you availed yourself to be used as God's instrument. What matters would not be the countless degrees and earthly achievements which would be insignificant on that day.

Today  I celebrate the life Of God's servant and his lovely wife . I think of a Man consumed with his  purpose that he  published 69 books for the Kingdom; dedicated his opportunity on earth to the great commission preaching in several nations of the world sharing kingdom truths on finance, purpose , singleness and more. O what an honor it must have been to have lived a life fully dedicated to the kingdom; O what a privilege it was to have sat in the same room with a man of faith who zealously and relentlessly shared the kingdom truth on purpose in Lagos Nigeria as I  tried to grasp every anointed word that came out of his mouth.

 As  I honor you and the other saints that have fallen asleep,I cant help but ask the question which I heard you say at the conference "What Will Be Said Of You"? Rest in the Bosom Of Our Lord Jesus Dr Myles, Ruth Munroe and the saints.

Where Would We Be If Not For The Grace Of God !!
We are what we are, we have what we have , we are where we are because of the grace of God.
Every saint has a past or a story and every sinner has a future .Don't be quick to judge when you do not know a persons story for our God did not send his son to condemn the world but he sent his son that" the world through him might be saved" john 3:17.

My Prayer is that we turn our eyes from trying so much to remove the speck in other peoples eyes and our focus is more on showing , giving and being that love that was freely given to us.

Being A Christian Is Way Rewarding Than Acting The Part !!

Hey people,hope your week is  going great. I got to hear this interview and it inspired this write up.There were  certain things which stood out to me which my heart couldn't help but share and I think it's simply amazing how we could all watch the same video  and have different things which really stand out  to us.We would like to hear from you about it too so please feel free to share .
On that note,I'm going to share what I loved about it. The major things were ;Nobody is perfect,holiness is a lifelong process everybody has issues, and  the bishops honesty about his life and family.
Above all of them ,' Holiness is a lifelong Process' really stood out the most to me. The bible says in Rom 12:2 " Be ye not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind ".
Sometimes we forget that its not an instant change. Yes,it is very important that we stay in tune with God ;hearing his word,praying,worshiping,listening to tapes like this e.t.c but also remember that transformation takes time.I love when it makes reference  to  the fact that  people should be allowed to feel how they feel.They should not  be forced by somebody to act a certain way because you are a christian now or talk a certain way ' because somebody thinks you should.It tends to put an immense pressure on people to be perfect .That  Pressure that makes one constantly  aware of how your reactions should be,tends to  push people away.The intention  is usually good, most times,when this is done.However,it would only result in acting a certain way and living a life of hypocrisy without fulling understanding why we should act in a certain way.It should rather be yes you feel a certain way now and your reaction may be different but people should be allowed to go through the process of transformation and grow into what they believe. 'Faith comes by hearing and hearing through the word of God 'We should be allowed to let God himself transform our hearts and minds daily .That soon enough,we begin to see by ourselves and we begin to understand by ourselves the love he has for us and because we daily come to a deeper revelation and realization of that love,our hearts can't help but respond to that love based on the understanding we do have.Which is demonstrated in our reactions to certain things and certain situations which ordinarily we would have done ,because we felt like,but because his love now compels us we choose not to. It's truly way fulfilling to really' be Christians' than just 'acting the part'.
